We are committed to providing the finest quality dermatologic care with an emphasis on compassionate and informed patient relations. We offer state-of-the-art facilities and employ all the most current treatments. Our dermatologists are trained to take care of the full range of skin conditions, from acne and psoriasis to skin cancer and everything in between. All our dermatologists are also trained dermatologic surgeons.

Our History

Alta Dermatology was founded in 1983 in Mesa, AZ, by Dr. Stephen Kessler, a board-certified dermatologist. Over the years, it has become the most trusted name in dermatology in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Dr. Kessler has since retired, but his legacy of excellence is being carried on by his son, Dr. Stephen Kessler II, a board-certified dermatologist, as well as three additional board-certified dermatologists, Dr. Brooke Jeffy, Dr. Christle Layton, and Dr. D. B. Layton. Our team also includes a licensed nurse practitioner, Kristen Graham.
